Q. What made you realize it was time for a new car?
A: My previous luxury car was becoming expensive to maintain—even just filling it up with gas was pricey! At the same time, my three kids were growing and I needed a larger car that would accommodate their needs as well as my busy schedule.
Q. How did you choose the Highlander Hybrid?
A: I did a lot of research about which vehicles would work for me. I knew that I needed seven seats so the Toyota Highlander and the Acura MDX were my top contenders. The Highlander was the only one that came in a hybrid version which sealed the decision for me. I’m getting about 28 miles per gallon—almost double that of my old car! I also love the captain’s seats in the second row which let my kids each have their own space while I’m driving.
Q. Why did you decide to use Cartelligent?
A: I went to a number of dealers to try to find the car. It was a really difficult vehicle to find and most dealers were asking for a price over MSRP if they could even find it. I was getting frustrated both at the way I was being treated by the salespeople and by their inability to get me the car I wanted. I felt like my time was being wasted by the process.
